# Stake promo code godv

What this string is, where it comes from and how to try it without wasting a deposit.

## What this code is

godv is four lowercase characters, the handle of a well-known Chinese streamer and former professional player. Four-letter handle codes are the hardest to verify and the easiest to fake, because the string is short enough that anyone can guess it and type it into a code field.

Short handles circulate in chat, in clip comments and on resale pages, usually without a date. That is the weakness: you cannot tell a live code from a two-year-old one by looking. It is listed as verified with the date shown rather than guessed at. Practical handling is the same as for every short code — copy, do not retype; redeem before depositing; read the terms that appear; and if the field says invalid, accept that answer. If a page asks you to pay for "the working version" of a four-character code, that page is the product, not the code.

## How to redeem it

1. Sign in to your Stake account, or open the signup form if you are new.
2. Open the bonus-code field. In most accounts it sits in the profile or wallet menu; on the signup form it is a separate input.
3. Paste the code exactly as listed. Casing and trailing spaces matter, so copy instead of retyping.
4. Submit and read the response. If it applies, read the terms screen before funding the account.

Do this before you deposit. A code submitted after funding cannot retroactively apply to that deposit.

## String profile

- Composition: 4 letters, no digits
- Casing: all lowercase, so a capitalised version is a different string
- Pattern: no repeated characters or digit suffix
- Typing risk: only a few characters, so one wrong character is a different code

## What to watch for

- Copy the string instead of retyping it. Case and trailing spaces both break an otherwise valid code.
- Codes do not stack. If a bonus is already active on the account, a second code will usually be rejected.
- Campaigns end quietly. A code that worked last month can return an error today with no change to the characters.
